WEST UNITY: May 2 – The Edon Lady Bombers prevailed in a May 2 Hilltop Relays event that will go down as one of significant parity.
Of the six schools competing, the only one that did not collect at least one first place finish was the host Lady Cadets of Hilltop, a team so small, they were unable to participate in 10 of the 13 events. Edon took first with 71 points, followed by Montpelier with 60 and Stryker with 52. North Central took fourth place with 40 points, with Fayette in fifth with 22 and the Lady Cadets finishing sixth with 5.
