EDON- The Edon Lady Bombers, whose 1-5 record includes losses by rally, were not about to allow another lead to slip away on September 5. They took the first set from North Central, 25-14, then kept the pressure on to maintain the momentum, winning the final two sets and the match, 25-12 and 25-20.
Nicole Newell went 16/16 serving for Edon, with Kaela Gearhart going 14/14 serving. Alex Kiess led with 31 sets, with Kaitlyn Manahan adding 24. Hannah Brehm-Gutting drilled 10 kills, while Newell and Kaitlyn Sonneberger each had 3 kills, and Newell had 19 digs, Kiess 8 and Gearhart 7.
