Edon Takes Down North Central In Straight Sets

September 4th, 2014)-PIONEER: Edon traveled to Pioneer to take on the Eagles of North Central. The Lady Bombers were able to overcome North Central’s home court advantage, and take the victory back to Edon after three games.

The Bombers were hot from the beginning of the match. They impressively took game 1 25-10. The Lady Eagles tried to battle back in the second game, but fell short 16-25. The third set was a real battle between the two teams, as North Central gave their best effort. Still, they weren’t able to overcome the Bombers, dropping the set 19-25.

Alex Kies set things in motion for the Bomber attack, making 16 assists to go along with her 5 kills, 4 digs, and 1 ace. Nicole Newell added 10 digs, 8 kills, and an ace to the Bomber cause. Kaitlyn Sonneberger contributed 6 kills, 4 digs, an assist, and an ace to the victory as well.
