Fairview Lady Apaches Brought Down Hard By The Hilltop Lady Cadets, 75-39

N0584520SHERWOOD – It wasn’t over before it started, but shortly after it started, the January 15 game between Fairview and the Hilltop Lady Cadets was essentially over. Hilltop stifled the Lady Apaches’ offense to the tune of a 24-2 first period, running away with a 75-39 laugher.

Ten Hilltop girls got into the scoring act, including Sam Lillemon who led all scorers with a double-double of 18 points and a dozen rebounds for the Lady Cadets. Hannah Bleikamp finished with 14 points, while Jackie Smith had 13 points, 6 boards and 5 assists, and Cierra Carpenter posted a double-double of 10 points, 10 dimes and 5 steals. LeAnn Joost launched in 6 points, Emily Armbruster had 5, Kelly Geis 4, Kailey Creamer 3 points, and Destiny Denton and Kayla Settlemire each added a free throw.
