FAYETTE – Sometimes, things are not as they appear…but sometimes they are. What looked like an early blowout on January 15 turned into just that as the Fayette Lady Eagles turned an early 24-6 lead into a 73-38 clobbering of Hicksville.
Kaela Seiler put in 9 of her team high 14 in a first period that saw six Lady Eagles lighting up the scoreboard. Taylor Griffiths came off the bench to hit for 11 points, as did Ashtyn Baker for 10. Allison Cuff and Mikayla Smith each landed 9 points, Jessie Wheeler had 6 and Alexis Fruchey had 5 points. Paige Keefer posted 4 points, Cady Stockburger and Adriana Hylander each had a deuce and Rylee Ruger landed a free throw.
