Tonight’s charity basketball event at Fayette High School, hosted by the Parents Support Group for the Class of 2016, was a win all around for the community of Fayette and those in support at this evening’s highly successful fundraising event. Though the host Fayette All Starts came out on top 57-56 over the ABC 13 Team, it was a good time for all and everyone walked away a winner.

The visiting ABC 13 team, featuring University of Toledo Graduate and NFL Veteran Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski of the Pittsburg Steelers, has been an area feature for over a decade, and has helped local schools raise over $500,000.00 by participating in events throughout the area.

This evening’s entertainment began with an exhibition game featuring Fayette 3rd and 4th grade boys teams, followed by the 3rd and 4th grade girls teams. In addition to this evening’s main event between the Fayette All-Stars and the ABC 13 Team, several raffles were held for tables packed with baked goods, along with a pre-event sale of various food items for those in attendance.

According to Parent Support Group Committee members Chris Seiler and Krys Griffiths, tonight’s charity event was very successful and the outpouring of community support for the evening’s activities was a huge success for the community of Fayette.
