What: On Friday, November 29, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., the Bryan Area Foundation will open its doors to the community for its free Festival of Trees event.
Held during the Christkindl Market of Bryan, guests can see nineteen beautifully decorated trees that can be bid on for their home.
The Festival of Trees will also be open to the public on Saturday, November 30, Thursday, December 5, and Friday, December 6 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
On Saturday, December 7, the event is open from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and will conclude with a private Progressive Holiday Dinner for sponsors and ticketed guests starting at 7:00 p.m.
To create even more excitement throughout the holidays and around the charmingly decorated historic Williams County Courthouse Square, downtown businesses will participate in a Christmas tree decorating contest.
All attendees of the Christkindl Market of Bryan or the Festival of Trees can vote on their favorite decorated tree and help that retail location win a $1,000 grant for storefront improvements.
Part of the festivities will include the sale of three uniquely designed commemorative ornaments featuring the historic Williams County Courthouse. Each will be $15, or a set can be purchased for $40.
All sales, including the auction of the decorated trees, benefit various community funds held at the Bryan Area Foundation, enabling them to award more grants for the most urgent needs in their community.
