On Aug. 20, 2026, the Four County Career Center Board of Education held the regular board meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Four County Career Center.
As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the board approved:
-July board meeting minutes.
-Financial statements and investments for July 2026 as presented.
-Appropriation modifications as presented.
-Transfer from the General Fund to the Food Services Fund.
-403(b) Plan Restatement.
-Financial Forecast for FY27 through FY30.
As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
-The resignation of Teresa Gambler, Cook, and Carrie Lovejoy, Assistant Cook.
-A one-year Certified Contract to Gwendolyn Kinsman, Intervention Specialist.
-Certified, Educational Aide and Cafeteria substitutes for 2026-27, as presented.
-New teacher day pay for Drew Grimm and Gwendolyn Kinsman.
-Mentors and RESA Program Coordinator for the 2026-27 school year.
-Lab/Lab Instructors and Club Advisors for the 2026-27 school year.
-Instructors for Independent Study.

-Supplemental pay for the 2026-27 Building Trades House Project.
-Move Carrie Lovejoy to the Cook position.
-A one-year contract for Kristina Shonk, Custodian, 2nd shift.
-Adult Education Instructors as presented.
-Addition of a Part-Time Public Safety Chief Instructor to the salary schedule.
-Adult Education refund policy.
-Textbook for the Ayersville Ag Class.
-An agreement with Active Internet Technologies-Finalsite for website setup and hosting.
-Donation of teacher supply kits from the Kids in Need Foundation.
Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular September board meeting on Sept. 17, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in Room A101A at Four County Career Center.
The records commission will meet at 5:15 p.m. before the regular meeting. The policy committee will meet following the meeting.
