The Fulton County Board of Commissioners reviewed and approved the following items at their meetings of Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.
The commissioners will host the first public hearing for the Project Year 17 Community Development Block Grants Community Program.
Representatives from Maumee Valley Planning Organization will run the hearing at 10 a.m. Feb. 16.
Commissioners approved Resolution 17-105 allowing wildlife control efforts at Pettisville Wastewater Lagoons.
The board approved a contract with Miller Brothers Construction for the reconstruction of County Road M between CR 22 and SR 66 for more than $1.4 million.
The county board will accept sealed bids for raw water service to Nature Fresh Farm in Delta. The work consists of laying 10,700 linear feet of 12-inch raw water transmission installed by trenchless methods and/or open-cut which includes directional drilling under Bad Creek, CR H and SR 109 and the Indiana and Ohio railway.
The deadline for submissions is 10 a.m. Feb. 21 at 152 S. Fulton, Suite 270, Wauseon, Ohio.
The Fulton County Dog Warden picked up seven strays and redeemed six dogs for the week ending Jan. 28.
Officers collected in $255 in fees.
The county sent 7.9 tons of scrap tires to the Henry County Landfill, according to a report from the Sanitary Engineer.
The 2016 Annual Facility Operating report showed the county took in 1,313 tons of municipal waste and 1,690 tons of construction waste.
