Delta 28 Bryan 12

DELTA – The Panthers turned to big plays on offense to remain tied for first place in the NWOAL after a 28-12 win over Bryan.

Jeremiah Wolford led a Delta running game that totaled 245 yards with 147 of his own on 19 carries and touchdown runs of 25 and 33 yards.

Delta attempted just three passes on the night with one going for a 38-yard touchdown strike from James Ruple to Justin Ruple.

Bryan kept things close with a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns as Jase Kepler went 13 yards to Brown for a score and Brody Devlin returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.

Kepler went 21/33 through the air for 210 yards with Drew Hahn hauling in six passes for 67 yards.

SWANTON – Trey Parsons was 15/18 passing in his first start of the season for 274 yards and four touchdowns to lead Wauseon to a 35-6 win at Swanton.

Parsons opened the game with scoring strikes of 26 and eight yards to Sam Smith and closed the game by going to Tyson Rodriguez on a 78-yard TD pass early in the fourth quarter.

Rodriguez had four receptions in the game for 99 yards and Smith collected six passes for 83 yards.

Camron Stirtz accounted for the Bulldogs lone score of the night on a 12-yard run in the second quarter and ended with 55 yards on 12 carries for the game.

MONTPELIER – The Bombers scored in all three phases as they rolled past the Locos 48-7.

Edon’s scores came from quarterback Kyler Sapp who threw four for touchdowns and ran for one, Caden Nester returned an interception 21 yards for a touchdown and Max Radabaugh took a kickoff 79 yards for a score.

Brennen Friend accounted for the Locos touchdown on a 65-yard run in the third quarter.

HAMLER – Patrick Henry quarterback Nash Meyer ran for two scores and threw for another as the Patriots put the game away with a 20-point outburst in the second quarter.

Meyer ended the night with 227 yards passing and 52 yards rushing as he accounted for 279 of the Patriots 308 yards of offense.

Mossing led the Evergreen offense with 62 yards rushing on 12 carries.

FREMONT – The Eagles upped their record to 3-2 by blanking the Skippers of Fairport Harding 46-0.

Joey Burt led a dominant ground game for North Central by running for 272 yards on 27 attempts with three touchdowns.

The Eagles defense generated four turnovers led by Ethan Beard, Cam Laney, and Connor Gendron with one interception apiece and Wyatt Gruber had a fumble recovery.
