FAYETTE – The Eagles (1-18) jumped out to an 11-3 after one quarter and then needed two overtimes to knock off Edgerton 39-38 for their first win of the season.
Neveah Powers drilled three triples on her way to a game-high 21 points for Fayette. Taylor Smith and Addie Cape topped the Bulldog (2-19) ledger with 11 points each.

WAUSEON – The Indians were 19/26 from the charity stripe (13/18 in the fourth quarter) as they improved to 18-3 on the year after a 60-56 win over Miller City.
Marisa Seiler was 14/16 on free tosses and finished with 26 points, Hayley Meyer had eight buckets and two foul shots for 18, and Autumn Pelok added 10.

SWANTON – The visiting Eagles hit 11 treys and exploded for a 40-3 lead at the break in the win. Emma Crow topped Swanton (9-11) with two triples for six points.

ARCHBOLD – Ottawa-Glandorf (14-6) led by four points (35-31) at the end of three quarters before they pulled away by outscoring the Bluestreaks (12-8) 11-4 in the final frame.
Addi Ziegler fronted Archbold with a dozen points.

WEST UNITY – Antwerp (12-8) broke a 21-21 halftime tie with an 18-12 third quarter as they snuck by Hilltop 52-46 in a non-league matchup.
Hilltop (13-7) freshman Libbie Baker poured in a game-high 24 points and Jayma Bailey had 10.

HICKSVILLE – Hicksville (15-6) was led by Kenzie Schroeder who dropped a game-high 23 points in a 53-35 home win.
Kendal Bonney registered 15 and Madison Brown tallied 14 for the Eagles (10-8).

DELTA – The Panthers put three players in double figure to lead them to a 53-48 win over Otsego (1-14), a team Delta (8-10) will face in the Division III sectional semifinals on February 22nd.
Nolan Risner had 18 points to lead Delta while Bryce Gillen netted 11 and Justin Ruple added 10.

STRYKER – The homestanding Panthers (8-12, 3-3 BBC) took control with a 16-0 second quarter and cruised to a 53-30 BBC win.
Treyvon Harris led Stryker with the help of four longballs to tally16 points and Peyton Cioffi added 14. The Cadets (2-14, 1-4) were led in the scoring column by eight points from Matthew Wyse.

METAMORA – RJ Shunck hit two free throws with 15.5 left in overtime and the Vikings (8-8, 3-2 NWOAL) were able to turn Archbold way on the game’s final possession to get a 48-46 win.
Shunck and Evan Lumbrezer each had a team-high 17 points for Evergreen.
Archbold (12-6, 3-2) was paced by DJ Newman, who hit a three-pointer at the end of regulation to force the extra period, with 18 points and Alex Roth had seven field goals for 15.

SWANTON – The Bulldogs (17-2) built a 42-27 lead after three quarters and fended off a strong fourth quarter by the Eagles to garner a 56-47 win.
Cole Mitchey and Nic Borojevich each connected on three triples on their way to 19 points apiece while Luc Borojevich had 11 for Swanton.

TOLEDO – North Central (10-8) was outscored 22-5 at the foul line but still managed to draw within four points in the final stanza before falling 76-56.
North Central’s Zach Hayes was the game’s high scorer with 12 buckets en route to 28 points while Colin Patten had 11.

NAPOLEON – Wauseon (4-7, 3-7 NWOAL) led 1,579-1,219 following match play and then rolled three impressive Baker Games (148-91, 160-92, 203-143) to cruise to the win over Delta (2-9, 1-9).
Natalie Stevens had the high series (395) for Wauseon including a 221 in game two. Lexi Brown was the Panthers top bowler with a 384 (207, 177).

DESHLER – Zayne Kuesel tallied a 389 (202, 187) to lead a balanced attack as the Patriots (9-2, 7-2 NWOAL) edged Bryan 2,264-2,174.
Faith Harding topped Bryan (8-4, 6-4) with games of 203 and 213 for a 416 series, putting her average at 210.0 for the season.

Wauseon 2,168 Delta 2,098
NAPOLEON – Kage Little totaled a 440 (206, 234) and Ryan Marks added a 388 (193, 195) to pace Wauseon (3-11, 3-9 NWOAL) past Delta.
Brody Waugh topped the Delta (5-8, 4-8) scoring with a 366 (202, 164) and Kaden Hawkins rolled a 348 (172, 176).

DESHLER – The Golden Bears (11-2, 9-2 NWOAL) led 1,880-1,737 headed to Baker play where they defeated the Patriots (8-5, 7-4) 593-555 to close out the win.
Bryan’s Dakota Brandeberry led all bowlers with a 458 series as he fired games of 255 and 203.
