Hilltop Lady Cadets Battle The Stryker Panthers To A BBC Victory

WEST UNITY – The Lady Panthers of Stryker took their show on the road to battle Hilltop on December 7. Stryker jumped out to an early lead, winning at the end of the first quarter 13-10 and going into halftime up 31-24. But Hilltop had a lot more in their bag. They came out and dropped 9 points in the third quarter and a whopping 17 in the fourth on their way to a 50-41 victory.

Hilltop was led in scoring by Hannah Bleikamp who posted a game high 16 points as well as 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The team was led in rebounds by Sam Lillemon who had 10 along with 8 points. Also scoring for the Cadets were Cierra Carpenter with 9, Emily Armbruster with 7, Kayla Settlemier with 5, Kelly Geis and Jackie Smith with 2, and LeAnn Joost with 1.

Stryker was led by Conner Varner who posted 14 points. Also scoring for the Panthers were Maddie Uribes with 10, Connor Sullivan with 8, Hannah Doehrmann with 6, Ashley Haines with 2, and Christie Huston with 1.

Hilltop  10  14  9  17 – 50
Stryker  13  15  7  6 – 41
