Hilltop Lady Cadets Sweep Stryker In BBC Bunker Battle

WEST UNITY – The Hilltop Lady Cadets hosted the Stryker Lady Panthers on October 3. The Lady Cadets prevailed in the match, taking the first set 25-19, winning the second set by the score of 25-17 and capturing the match set by the score of 25-13.

For the Lady Cadets, Sydney Schmitt had 2 aces, 6 digs and 5 kills along with a blocked shot. Brittney Mocherman had an ace, 6 digs, 13 kills along with 1 blocked shot, Emily Armbruster posted 14 digs and 9 kills. Kayla Settlemire had 4 aces, 8 digs and 3 kills. LeAnn Joost had a dig, 4 kills and 3 blocked shots, Cierra Grant posted 1 ace, 6 digs, 3 kills and a blocked shot, while Kailey Creamer had an ace and 16 digs in the effort for the Lady Cadets.

Conner Varner was 28/34 hitting with 12 kills and 15 digs for the Lady Panthers, while Christie Huston was 10/12 hitting with 7 kills and 2 blocks.  Audra Rupp was 11/12 hitting with 4 kills and 3 blocks;  Maddie Uribes had 14 assists and 7 digs, and Connor Sullivan added 7 assists with 7 digs.
