The Kissell Building in West Unity was bustling with activity on Saturday, December 6, 2025, as the Omnibus Club hosted its annual craft show, offering a wide array of handmade goods, holiday decor, and community spirit.
The event, part of West Unity’s “A Christmas Town” celebration, welcomed local artisans and small vendors who filled the space with creative displays and seasonal offerings.
Attendees found an impressive range of handcrafted items for sale, including Christmas ornaments, festive home decor, crocheted products, handmade soaps and lotions, wax melts, artwork, baked goods, and specialty treats such as homemade toffee.
With an estimated over twenty vendors participating, the show brought together a broad mix of local makers, giving shoppers an opportunity to support small businesses while finding unique gifts for the holiday season.
In addition to vendor booths, the craft show featured a free-will donation table in the main room where visitors could choose from an assortment of homemade sweets. Pies, cookies, small cakes, and other baked goods were available.
The Omnibus Club also operated a lunch stand, offering simple comfort foods such as sandwiches, hot dogs, baked beans, and warm beverages for a modest donation.
A raffle was held throughout the day, with winners drawn at 3:00 p.m. Six themed prize baskets were available, and attendees could purchase raffle tickets individually or take advantage of bundled deals.
The Omnibus Club of West Unity, a long-standing nonprofit organization, directs its efforts toward improving the community through scholarships, assistance to local families in need, and support for needed causes throughout the area.
Their annual craft show not only highlights local talent but also reinforces the club’s dedication to serving the community.
