The Lyons Village Council held their meeting on Monday, November 7th. The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The following agenda items were then discussed. Fire hydrants have been winterized in the village for this year.
The first leaf pickup of the season started on Monday, November 7th. The second pickup will take place the week of December 5th through the 9th.
Twelve new trees were put in at the Dunbar Ingall Park. Parade letters went out to residents along with the tree letters.
THM testing will take place the week of November 8th through the 14th and a meeting will be held with the USDA on November 16th. A new sound system is being looking into for parades.
Council then voted to give a $50.00 donation to the Lyons-Royalton Fire Department for their feather party.
A Sunshine Law class will be attended on November 17th and the state audit is still ongoing. The audit should be done by the end of the month.
Council then voted to approve an Indigent Defense Contract before moving to adjourn for the evening.
