The Lyons Village Council held their meeting on Monday, April 3rd. The meeting began at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance before the following items were discussed and approved by council.
A zoning change for the property on North Adrian to be changed to residential. This property is where the old school was located.
The 2023/2024 salt contract with ODOT was discussed with a decision being made to order 22 tons. The BWC audit is set for April 18th, a new mower is expected to be due by the end of April and the new dump truck should be ready by early May.
Aqualine is set to come towards the end of April/beginning of May to check for leaks. Council then moved to order 20 used storage containers for storage at the Lagoon.
Speed signs have been received and should be put up within the next week, the Spring letter will be sent out to residents on the 13th of April and a ribbon cutting will take place on April 10th at 1:30 p.m. with the FCEDC.
With no other business to attend to, council moved to adjourn for the evening.
