Marie Tempel (1964 – 2018)

Marie-Louise Siobhan Tempel, 53 years, of Bryan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Marie-Louise was born October 6, 1964 in London, England, the daughter of Andrew Theodore and Mary Teresa (McCullagh) Hatzaetos.

A life-long learner, Marie-Louise had a passion for learning, whether through college, reading books or other types of media.  She was a strong advocate her entire life, defending those that have been taken advantage of, animals and any others who fail to make those in positions of authority aware.

Surviving are her three children, Victoria (Thomas) Cabaniss of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Alex (Tonya) Tempel of Dyess AFB, Texas and Mackenzie Tempel of Grabill, Indiana; five grandchildren, Max, Jordan, Caroline and Andrew, Florence with the arrival of granddaughter, Faith later this month; her mother, Mary Teresa Hatzaetos of Bryan; one sister, Edwina Phillips of Bryan; niece, Bronwen Phillips of San Francisco, California; nephew, Liam Phillips of Bryan; one aunt and many cousins in England, Greece and Ireland.  She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Theodore Hatzaetos.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Lynn Street, Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.  The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial donations be given to the Williams County Humane Society, 09464 County Road 13, Bryan, Ohio or to the National Veterans Foundation, 5777 Century Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90045.
