Montpelier Chapter No. 270, Women of the Moose, recently presented donations at Christmastime to benefit local projects. Contributions included a $100 donation to See & Do Club, one dozen Tommy Moose dolls to the Montpelier Police Department, and a $300 donation for Operation Santa Claus for five local families needing assistance during the Christmas season. The Tommy Moose community service program provides local law enforcement and emergency services personnel with Tommy Moose dolls to be given to children involved in traumatic circumstances. Montpelier Moose Lodge #312 and Chapter #270 will host the annual Moose Kids Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 19th at 2:00 p.m. when Santa will greet the children and listen to Christmas wishes.
