Napoleon Man Sentenced In Fulton County On Theft & Forgery Charges

A Napoleon, Ohio man was sentenced on October 18, 2018 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Michael P. Prystash, Jr., age 45, previously pled guilty to one count of Theft and four counts of Forgery. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, on or about March 15, 2018 to March 22, 2018, Mr. Prystash stole and forged blank checks.

Judge Jeffrey Robinson sentenced Mr. Prystash to four years of community control. He ordered Mr. Prystash to be held in CCNO until a bed is available at the SEARCH Program; pay prosecution costs and court-appointed attorney fees; successfully complete the SEARCH Program; be assessed for MAT treatment and dual diagnosis treatment at Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio, and successfully complete any recommended treatment; not consume or possess alcohol or illegal drugs in his home or vehicle; not enter bars and/or taverns; and comply with an 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. curfew.

Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Mr. Prystash serving 50 months in prison.
