North Central Overtakes Locomotives

August 26th: In a junior high showdown, the Eagles of North Central defeated the Locomotives of Montpelier to begin the season. The Eagles shot a 188 as a team, while Montpelier scored a 213 collectively.

North Central’s Chance Boothman received medalist status at the event with a 41. Also shooting under 50, Nathan Stembridge and Jay Garrett each fired a 47 for the Eagles. Lane Cogswell, Hayden Haas, and Zayde Van Auken all turned in a score of 53, one of which contributed to North Central’s final score.

Tyler Rupp was Montpelier’s best performer at the match, swinging his way to a 51. Not too far behind, Aaron Stoy’s 52 and Kyle Llewellyn’s 53 also added to the Locomotive total. Garrett Witte shot a 57, rounding out Montpelier’s scoring effort.
