The Northwest Ohio Rug Hookrafters Guild held their January meeting at the Stryker library.
Members discussed plans for the 40th Anniversary Guild Show. Tenatively the October show will be held at the Weslyan United Methodist Church, Bryan. Among items discussed were a raffle and possible vendors on the show day. ArtSpace is willing to do a window display promoting the show featuring rug hooking and raffle items. This display would be held sometime during July-Sept. The date will be forthcoming.

The program for the evening was “Punchneedle” presented by Doreen DeLisle. Like miniature hooked rugs, punchneedle embroidered pieces are made by using a special needle that punches embroidery floss through fabric to make tiny loops.

The evening concluded with project display and refreshments. The next meeting will be held on Feb. 6, 6PM, At the Stryker library.
