Twenty-three students completing Northwest State Community College’s medical assisting associate degree or phlebotomy technician certificate program were recently pinned in a special ceremony held for the graduates. Both options lead to entry-level positions in the health care field, and students earning the phlebotomy technician certificate may choose to continue their education for an associate degree in medical assisting.
The following graduates were honored for medical assisting: Fulton County: Tiffany Hall (Fayette). Williams County: Kathy Blair (West Unity), Brigitte Kuszmaul (Bryan), Jennifer McCarty (Bryan), Christina Roloff (Alvordton), Heather Price (Bryan) and Jamie Strup (West Unity).
The following graduates were honored for phlebotomy: Fulton County: Rebecca Short (Archbold) Williams County: Chelsi Brown (Edon), Risa Decker (Montpelier), Keshia Goebel (Edgerton), Brittany Grimes (Bryan), Jeramy Nobis (Bryan)
