LEADING HITTER (April 30, 2026) … Wauseon’s Breah Teal led the Indian hitting attack with two singles.

WINNING PITCHER … Beyla Remer got the win in the circle for Swanton after tossing five innings and allowing just a pair of Wauseon runs.

WAUSEON — Swanton kept pace with Bryan in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League softball title race as the Bulldogs pounded out 15 hits in a 13-2 six-inning victory over Wauseon.

Kendall Glonek led the Bulldogs (19-2, 5-0 NWOAL) with three hits, including a pair of home runs, along with two runs batted in and scoring four times.

Lacey Shinaver also had three hits and scored three runs. Alexa Faber also contributed with a home run and a double and drove in four runs. Cara Ludlow and Carli LaGrange also had two hits for Swanton.

Breah Teal had a pair of singles for Wauseon (8-8, 1-4 NWOAL).

Beyla Remer was the winning pitcher for Swanton, allowing two runs on five hits with two strikeouts and three walks.
