Patricia Marie Bevelhymer, age 87, passed away on Friday morning, December 6, 2024 at Fairlawn Retirement Community in Archbold.
She was born on October 29, 1937 to Truxton Paul and Helen Irene (Lano) Hoover in Defiance. She graduated from Jewell High School and married Junior Greutman (dec), divorced, and later remarried William Bevelhymer (dec) in 1978.
For many years she worked for Ohio Art Etch-a-Sketch as an executive secretary, where she was in charge of their newsletter that was delivered worldwide.
She enjoyed crafts, creating cemetery saddles – she was known as “the flower lady on County Road R.” She also loved the lake and anything on the water including boating and skiing.
She is survived by Jeffrey (Wendy) Greutman; grandson, Zachary Greutman and sister, Susan Shock. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Junior Greutman; second husband, William Bevelhymer; sister, Sallie Gebers.
There will be a private burial in Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church – Napoleon or to Henry County Senior Center.
