AYERSVILLE: April 26 – The annual Diller Invitational in Ayersville hosted 14 teams on April 26, two of which were the Montpelier Locomotives and the Pettisville Blackbirds.
Neither the Locos or the ‘Birds fielded enough participants to compete in every event on this day, leaving them both scrapping for every point that they could get. In the end, the Blackbirds finished in ninth place with 38 points, while the Locomotives took twelfth with 29.
