The saying goes, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. There was treasure galore in the small village of Pettisville and the surrounding areas from May 6-9 during the community garage sales.
Over 30 locations were involved in the annual garage sales that normally mark the beginning of a busy garage sale season for those looking to find a good deal.
Clothing for adults, children and toddlers ruled in most sales, but some places offered items such as a snow blower, living room furniture, antique items and tools.
Chances are, if you could not find what you were looking for, then you may not have looked hard enough. Pettisville will host another community garage sale later this year.
