September 4th-PETTISVILLE: Both Seventh and Eighth Grade Blackbirds faced off against the Lady Panthers of Stryker on Thursday. The girls of Pettisville successfully defended their home court in both games.
The Seventh Grade Stryker Girls play hard in the first game, but fell short, as they dropped the set 14-25. Pettisville proved to be too much for Panters in game 2 as well, and Stryker lost the set 12-25.
In Eighth Grade action, The Lady Blackbirds controlled the match. They took game 1 by a comfortable 25-10 margin. The Lady Panthers came back strong in the second set, but Pettisville was able to fend them off for a 25-19 victory.
