DELTA – The Delta Panthers proved to be inhospitable hosts to the Pettisville Lady Blackbirds on September 9, as they swept out the Ladybirds in straight sets, 25-20, 25-22 and 25-19.
Stephanie Hubby had 22 digs and a kill for Pettisville, with Emily Hubby adding 7 digs, an assist and 9 kills. Sarah Christiansen posted an ace and 2 digs, Amber Klopfenstein had a dig, a kill and 2 blocks, and Jordyn Pursel had 4 digs and 6 kills.
Dana Fricke registered 2 aces, 2 digs, an assist, 9 kills and 4 blocks, Kate Kauffman had an ace, 5 digs, 9 assists and 3 kills, and Brooke Waidelich had an ace, 8 digs, 10 assists and 2 kill.
