Pettisville Schools introduced their Homecoming Court in the gymnasium during the evening hours of Saturday, January 28th.
Members of the Homecoming Court entered a dark gym under the illumination of a spotlight.
Each one followed a lighted pathway to an arch in the center of the gym where they stood for photos by friends and family. This Year’s Pettisville Homecoming Court is as follows.
The female freshman attendant was Ella Myers. Ella is the daughter of Taryn and Keith Myers. She is involved in volleyball, cheerleading, FCA, and her church youth group.
The male freshman attendant was Evan Price. Evan is the son of Ryan and Krystina Bashor. He is involved in basketball and quiz team.
The female sophomore attendant was Shiloh Adkins. Shiloh is the daughter of Seth and Angela Adkins. She is involved in FCA, FCCLA, Noteworthy, and Spanish Club.
The male attendant for the sophomores was Tyler Layton. Tyler is the son of Joyce Layton and Tom Layton. He is involved in track, soccer, and FFA.
Lily Wiemken was one of the representatives for the junior class. Lily is the daughter of Tony and AnnaLisa Wiemken. She is involved in Golf, Basketball, Track, Softball, FFA, NHS. She is also a 4-H member of the Okolona Buckeyes and her church youth group.
The other junior attendant Trevor King. Trevor is the son of Doug and Paula King. He is involved in Noteworthy, school plays, tech crew for musicals, and his church youth group.
Female senior attendant Rosemary Baer is the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Baer. She is involved in volleyball, quiz team, Spanish club, and is a yearbook editor.
The male senior attendant was Zachary McWatters. Zach is the son of Tom and Angie McWatters. He is involved in cross country, track, Spanish club, quiz team, and Noteworthy.
The Kindergarten Prince was Hayes Rufenacht. Hayes is the son of Lindsi and Justin Rufenacht. The Kindergarten Princess was Scarlett Tressler. Scarlett is the daughter of Olivia Tressler.
The Homecoming King and Queen then entered the gym and were announced. Homecoming King Griffin Eash is the son of Tony and Chelsea Eash. He is involved in soccer, track, NHS, quiz team, and jazz band.
Homecoming Queen Leah Beck is the daughter of Reggie and April Beck. She is involved in basketball, NHS, FFA, Choir, Noteworthy, musicals, FCA, the class officer team, and her church youth group and worship team.
Following the court’s introduction, the nights basketball games began, starting with the JV game followed by the varsity game.
After the games were finished, the students were able to go and enjoy the Homecoming Dance with all of their friends.
