FULTON COUNTY SHERIFF
Sheriff Roy E. Miller announces that the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Traffic Enforcement Blitz designated, “Homecoming Blitz” on October 2nd through October 4th and October 9th through October 11th. This blitz was in conjunction with Homecoming events at Archbold, Delta, Swanton, and Wauseon High Schools. Deputies who worked this Blitz made 49 traffic stops and issued 9 citations. The citations issued were all for speed. Deputies also issued 43 warnings during the Blitz. The Traffic Enforcement Blitzes are paid for from a grant that the Sheriff’s Office received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Sheriff Miller and his deputies are dedicated to protecting the citizens of Fulton County and the motorists who travel its highways. This grant allows for extra patrol to enforce traffic laws that will increase the safety of motorists on the roadways in areas that are prone to a higher number of serious and fatal crashes.
