Biodegradable confetti could be seen all over South Lynn Street on April 4th after a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated the addition of Amazon to the Bryan Chamber of Commerce.

The ribbon cutting ceremony, which happened at 2 p.m., is the result of Amazon taking the initiative to recruit local businesses to make extra money by performing deliveries.

Deliveries can be made throughout the day, with the only parameter being that they must be delivered before 8 p.m.

Businesses use an app on their phone to conduct the entire process, and deliveries will be kept within 6.5 miles of their location.

This opportunity is not only able to help small businesses earn extra income, it also provides the citizens with faster package arrival times.

If any business is interested in entering this partnership -especially those located in Montpelier and Pioneer- please reach out to Amazon Field Acquisition Manager Julie Leach at leasjuli@amazon.com or (989) 501-1600.
