Sharp Shooters 4-H Club Gets Down To Business

May 24, 2014Updated:November 30, 2016No Comments2 Mins Read

On May 18, 2014 the Sharp Shooters 4-H Club met for a business meeting at the Williams County Conservation League. The meeting was called to order by President Madi Routhier. The first order of business was to make a motion to sponsor trophies for the County Fair at $30 per trophy. The club also voted on this year’s t-shirt colors. The colors for this year’s t-shirts are charcoal gray, and neon green.

4-H Camp Palmer is June 7-10. Shooting Sports Camp is July 6-11, and Jr. Shooting Sports Camp will be June 7-10.

Camp Palmer will be hosting a fun shoot including shotgun, pellet rifle, rifle, and archery. The first discipline will be $15, and any additional disciplines are $6. Box lunches will be $5 that day. A t-shirt will be included if registrations are turned in by June 17.

Our President Madi Routhier will be going to Nationals in Nebraska, for Shotgun, on June 22-28. They will be shooting trap, skeet, and sporting clays and will need at least a thousand rounds of ammunition. The club made a motion to buy all of Madi’s ammunition she will need.

The next meeting will be held on Sunday June 1, and the next business meeting will be on June 15 at the Williams County Conservation League. The first session will be from 2-4pm, and the second session will be from 4-6pm.
