The Williams County Master Gardeners under the direction of the Ohio State University, Williams County, are offering a series of informative gardening classes. The classes will be held at the Agri. Services Meeting Room behind the OSU Extension Williams County office, at 1122 West High Street in Bryan, starting at 6:30 p.m.
How Does Your Vegetable Garden Grow?” is the topic for the first class of Gardening School on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Robert Sachs, Master Gardener and JoAnn Beucler, of Farmer JoAnn’s will share gardening techniques, how to draw a garden plan and keeping pests from your vegetables.

The next class will be Tuesday, April 16, 2013 on “Lawn Care” Wendy Farrell of Farrell’s Lawn and Garden of Bryan. They will be sharing information on fertilizing, controlling weeds and general lawn maintenance.
Monday, May 6th, Kathy Shortridge, “The Shady Lady” will be presenting a program “Growing Hosta in Your Landscape”. Kathy is a Lucas County Master Gardener and will share techniques in raising Hosta plants in your landscape.
