FAST stands for Families and Schools Together. FAST is a nationwide program that has been around school systems for over twenty years. FAST in Stryker is a program set on routine and empowering parents. The program is designed to connect families to the school, community members, and local agencies. The program runs for eight weeks with two and one half hour sessions each week. The participants receive a meal along with time for discussions with and without the children present. The concept is to bring families together with the schools in an effort to help children succeed. Beth Mohr, on the right, spoke as a guest of Stryker Rotarian and Stryker School Superintendent, Nate Johnson.
