The West Unity Area Chamber of Commerce met in regular session tonight at 7pm to hold our March Board Meeting at the Hilltop School. Just before the meeting started, the Board of Directors and Officers paused to acknowledge an overdue achievement and award recipient.

The 2012 Board of Directors previously nominated Dr. Bob Smith of the Board for the Blue Star Award. The Blue Star Award is given by the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce in recognition of a Chamber Members extra effort to develop and grow the chamber in the community. Dr. Bob Smith serves Hilltop West Unity Schools as Superintendent as well has contributed his time, energy and valued wisdom growing the value of The West Unity Area Chamber of Commerce. He has helped to foster growth in the community, school and volunteered countless hours at Chamber events!

May his actions serve as an example to the rest of us! Thank you Dr. Smith for your dedication!
