(October 6th, 2014)-WAUSEON: With the Rockets of Oak Harbor coming to town, the Wauseon Lady Indians knew their home field would be the launching point for a battle of epic proportions.
Thus was the case, as the 13 saves by Wauseon Keeper Hannah Spadafore was just enough to force a 3-3 tie with the visiting Oak Harbor girls. Of course, with only 5 attempts at the Rocket goal, the Lady Indians made sixty percent of their shots on the game.
Freshman sensation Jaydelin Vasvery scored twice for Wauseon, playing a pivotal role in the team keeping pace with the rising Rockets. Avery Giguere put the ball between the goal posts a single time herself, with the Lady Indian also making an assist. Natalie Koenig and Lydia Schmucker also added an assist apiece in the tie.
