Wauseon Takes Down Holgate In Four Sets In Non-Conference Court Action

WAUSEON: August 20, 2014 – The Wauseon Lady Indians played host to the Holgate Tigers on August 20 in non-conference action. The Lady Indians prevailed in four sets taking down Holgate 25-18, 25-22 and 25-18. The Lady Tigers picked up one set 25-21.
For Wauseon, Sydney Bosell went 13 for 16 serving with 6 aces and was 17 for 23 setting with 8 kills and 6 blocks on the afternoon. Kierra Fountain was 18 for 18 serving with 5 aces and had 17 of 18 serve receives with 11 digs, and was 18 for 27 hitting with 9 kills and 2 blocks. Sariah Yackee was 17 of 18 serving with 2 aces and had 28 for 31 serve receives with 19 digs in the victory. Amy Bosell went 16 for 19 hitting with 4 kills and 2 blocks while Morgan Bzovi was 16 for 18 serving with 2 aces and had 11 for 14 serve receives with 4 digs. Hayley Chamberlain had a big afternoon with 9 for 10 serving while recording 5 aces and going 62 for 63 setting with 17 assists. Haley also went 7 for 10 hitting with 3 kills and 2 blocks. Morgan Roth went 13 for 14 serving with 2 aces and was 42 for 44 setting with 11 assists. Kallie Strauss went 11 for 15 hitting with 3 kills and 2 blocks while Karli Penrod went 6 for 6 setting with an assist and was 5 for 7 hitting with 2 kills and 2 blocked shots.
