The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 22, to officially welcome Three M Bloom to the community.
The new business, located at 1290 North Shoop Avenue, Suite 20, in Wauseon, is owned and operated by Yessica Cortez.
Three M Bloom is a flower and gift shop that brings a personal touch to every arrangement. Yessica, who has always had a passion for working with flowers, explained that what began as a hobby making bouquets for her sons’ teachers, family, and friends eventually grew into the idea of opening her own shop. After more than three months of preparation, the doors officially opened on September 18.
The name “Three M Bloom” carries a special meaning, inspired by Yessica’s three boys whose names all begin with the letter M.
Inside the shop, customers can find a wide selection of floral arrangements and personalized gifts for every occasion. This includes preserved “eternal” roses, custom ribbons with text, and other unique items meant to make each order one of a kind.
One of the highlights of the shop is the flower bar, where customers can build their own bouquets. Yessica also plans to expand the inventory over time, offering even more creative and personal options.
In addition to flowers, an ice cream bar will be opening inside the shop soon, with over a dozen flavors, a variety of cones, toppings, and other sweet treats.
Yessica shared that her goal is to build strong connections with the community by being someone people can trust with their most meaningful moments, whether it’s a birthday, special event, or just a simple “thinking of you” gesture.
“I feel like this community is very supportive of small businesses,” she said. “I try to give back in any way I can by bringing flowers to other businesses and doing frequent giveaways.”
The ribbon-cutting marked an exciting new beginning for both Three M Bloom and the community it now serves.
With its combination of flowers, gifts, and soon-to-be ice cream offerings, the shop is set to become a warm and welcoming space for anyone looking to brighten someone’s day.
