On Wednesday, November 8 at 6:30 p.m. the Planning & Zoning Committee of West Unity met at Village Hall with committee members Tim Calvin, Kevin Gray, and Lisa Woodring present along with Mayor Don Leu, Administrator Josh Fritsch, and Deputy Clerk Aubrey Jennings. Jarett Wyse was absent.

The sole purpose of the meeting was to change the zoning of properties located at 106 Lynn Street, 108 Lynn Street, and 110 Lynn Street from an S-1 zoning designation (“Special: Areas which are suitable for recreation and conservation purposes, and areas subject to periodic flooding.”) to an R-2 designation (“Moderate Density Residence:  For residential development of moderate density, including multiple dwellings as well as one and two- family residences served by or proposed to be served by group water and sewerage facilities.”)

Mayor Leu offered that the change in zoning status to the standard-sized lots would allow homes to be built on those properties.

With nothing further, the meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
