The Williams County Commissioners approved two agreements during their regular meeting Tuesday, June 30, 2026, including a child placement services contract and a purchase agreement for the county’s Juvenile and Probate divisions.
President Scott Lirot, Bart Westfall, and Terry Rummel were in attendance.
Commissioners first approved a Title IV-E contract between the Williams County Department of Job and Family Services and Community Teaching Homes, Inc. The agreement provides child placement services with a limit of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
The board also approved a Dollar General Charged Sales Account and Tax Exemption Agreement on behalf of the Williams County Common Pleas Court, Juvenile and Probate Divisions.
The agreement allows the divisions to make tax-exempt purchases at Dollar General, with payments to be made directly to the vendor. Both resolutions were approved unanimously.
