WILLIAMS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Single Bid Submitted For County Paving Project

BID … The Williams County Commissioners received one bid during the bid opening for an asphalt project.

The Williams County Commissioners held their regular session on Tuesday, April 15. During the meeting, they received a single bid for this year’s asphalt paving project.


Gerken Paving submitted a bid totaling $1.78 million, the estimated cost was $2.24 million.

The project will cover approximately six miles of roadway. Three miles along County Road P-50 from County Road 7 to U.S. 576, and another three miles near Stryker on County Road F.

Other Business
-Received concern from a Stryker resident on the incoming Dog Park at Goldie Newman Park.

-An executive session was held for employment with no action taken.
