A cooperative effort involving Williams County Commissioners, Sheriff Steve Towns and The OPBA deputies union resulted in the return of concessions given by the deputies last year including the return of duty vehicles. There has also been an agreement reached with the OPBA and Sheriff Towns which resulted in a revised work schedule which has better shift coverage and also allows deputies more time with their families.
