Williams County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Help in Solving String of Burglaries

The Williams County Sheriff’s Office received several theft reports from the Nettle Lake area on August 15, 2013. Sometime during the early morning hours someone entered a garage and vehicle at 164 Lake Shore Drive. The suspect took a cell phone, a GPS unit, Oakley Sunglasses and a Ruger 380 handgun.

The suspect entered another garage and vehicle at 122 Multnomah and took several guns, compound bow, and a chain saw. The types of guns missing were a .22 rifle, fifty caliber muzzle loader, and a twelve gauge shot gun.
There were packs of cigarettes, cash, hand cuffs, Garmin GPS unit, a wallet with credit cards, and an iPod charger also taken from vehicles in the area. The residences that reported these items missing are as follows: 175 Hiawatha Trail, 193 Hiawatha Trail, 255 Hollywood Boulevard, and at 04052 CR-S.

There was a report of a suspicious male in camouflage clothing seen walking northbound on Hollywood Boulevard at 4:10 am with something in his hands. The subject took off running into a woods per a caller. The Sheriff’s Office did not receive the tip until 5:20 am.
