Rozella Sintobin (1926-2022)

Rozella Fay (Beaverson) Sintobin, age 95 of Delta, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Embassy of Swanton.

She was born on November 19, 1926 in Fayette to parents Estel and Blanch (Balser) Beaverson. After graduating from high school, Rozella would go on to further her education by becoming a schoolteacher.

She taught for 20 years in Lyons, Ohio as well as the Evergreen School District. She helped to mold countless young people into who they are today through her years of service.

She was dedicated to her family, Fulton Union Christian Church and her teaching. Rozella married Chuck Sintobin on November 16, 1946 and out of that union they were blessed with 5 children.

Robert (Connie) Sintobin, Larry (Connie) Sintobin, Nancy (Phil) Warnke, Dick (Penny) Sintobin and the late Kathy Reckner.

Also surviving are her son in law, Pat (Melanie) Reckner; sisters-in-law, Isabella Haas and Joy Sintobin; grandchildren, Rob (Deanna) Sintobin, Ryan (Maryann) Sintobin, Chris (Holly) Sintobin, Adam (Sarilyn) Sintobin, Todd (Jemelle) Sintobin, Troy (Heather) Sintobin, Cheri (Luke) Lucas, Matt (Emily) Warnke, Andy (Amanda) Warnke, Peg (Tedd) Smith, Mark (Tabitha) Sintobin, Justin (Deanna) Reckner, Josh (Stacey) Recker, Katie (Brian) Hamilton, and Kylie (Kyle) Schroeder; and many many great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren.

Those preceding her in death were her husband, Chuck Sintobin; daughter Kathy Reckner; granddaughter Abby Jean Reckner and great granddaughter, Adrianne Smith; siblings Genevieve Nofziger, Clifford Beaverson and Marjorie Van Pelt.

Those siblings left to cherish her memory are Maxine Shelt, Dorothy (Phil) Cogar, Ralph Beaverson, Wayne Beaverson and sisters-in-law, Issabelle Haas and Joy Sintobin.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A funeral service honoring the life of Rozella will be held at Fulton Union Christian Church 5232 Co. Rd. HJ in Delta on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor David Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Fulton Union Cemetery in Delta.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Fulton Union Christian Church, 5232 Co Rd. HJ Delta, Ohio 43515.
