The Village of Lyons celebrated another fantastic year with their 34th annual Christmas Parade. The parade took place on Saturday, December 14th at 5:30 p.m., with line-up taking place an hour earlier at the Lyons Community Park.
The parade route took everyone down Morenci Street in downtown Lyons, with the end point eventually leading to the Lyons-Royalton Fire Department.
The street was lined with cars and people waiting to see the parade, which was led by the Honor Guard and Evergreen Marching Band.
Santa Claus also made his way along the parade route and called out to all the good boys and girls in town.
Following the parade, everyone was free to meet up at the fire hall for the department’s annual Christmas After Parade.
