June A. Everetts, 88, of Bryan and formerly of Edon passed away at her home Tuesday, September 4, 2018. She was born on February 11, 1930 in Montpelier to Dewey and Rosina Zoe (Brannan) Pike. On May 3, 1948 she married Lyle “Bud” Everetts and he preceded her in death in 2015.
June was a homemaker for most her life, who faithfully followed her husband Bud as he was required to travel for work. She was a very good cook and baker. June’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy L. Calvin of Bryan; grandchildren Jennifer (Brad) Sampson of West Unity, Cristen (Dan Brenner) Calvin of Toledo; and four great grandchildren, Kaleb, Lily, Joshua and Trinity Sampson.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 67 years, Bud, son Charles W. Everetts, son-in-law Gary Calvin and brother Dewey Pike.
Visitation for June will be on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 9-10:30 am at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. Services will follow at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Blank to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williams County Humane Society.
