Jerry E. Enyart, age 76, of Delta, God has accepted His servant, Jerry into His arms.  Jerry passed unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

He was born to Lester and Wilma (Gunn) Enyart on February 24, 1942.  Jerry was a 1960 graduate of Fulton School in AI, Ohio.  He attended classes at the University of Toledo, The Ohio State University and Heidelberg College.  Jerry served in the Air Force Air National Guard from 1964-1970.

He and his father farmed for many years together.  Jerry worked for National Survey, Fulton County Soil Conservation and Toledo Edison from which he retired after 28 years and started a new career for 16 years at the Fulton County Auditors, Treasurers and Engineers offices.  Jerry was a member of Fulton Masonic Lodge #248, Wauseon Chapter #111 F&AM and Wauseon Council #68, Knights Templar Commandary, serving in various capacities, KYCH and Wauseon/Maumee Elks.

He had the rewarding experience of serving for 19 years on the Fulton County Fair Board, acting as Treasurer for much of that time.  Jerry was a dedicated life-long member of Lytton-Zion Church.  His desire to serve this church family as teacher, worship leader, Sunday School Superintendent and Church Board member was his greatest devotion.

Jerry married MaryAnn Mohler on October 16, 1965 and she survives, along with their children, Dennis (Sylvia) Enyart and AmyJo (John) Kucker; grandchildren, Megan and Lindsay Kucker, Nathen, Adam and Amanda Enyart; sisters-in-law, Kathryn (Steve) Rettig and Jean (Bob) Krieger; mother-in-law, Jessie Mohler, many nieces and nephews; the Gunn, Patterson and Sell family members and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta, with a Masonic Service beginning at 7:30 PM.  A public graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Dutch Ridge Cemetery.  A celebration of life service will follow the graveside and begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday at Lytton Zion United Church of Christ, 12892 Co Rd 5, Delta, Ohio 43515.  Reverend Dr. Wm F. Dunifon will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages you to “Go out and serve others with God’s love”.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider memorial contributions to the family, c/o MaryAnn Enyart for a benevolence to be decided at a later date.
