Joshua Liechty (1981-2019)

Joshua Douglas Liechty, age 37, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, March 7, 2019. He was carpenter and handyman and enjoyed working for Alva Roth.

Josh was born in Wauseon, Ohio, on march 17, 1981, the son of Doug and Judy (Howard) Liechty. Josh enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, and playing euchre.

Surviving are his three sons, Gavin and Ashton Liechty of Toledo, and Winston Liechty of Archbold; his parents, Doug and Judy Liechty of rural Fayette; brother, David (Angie) Liechty of Archbold; and sister, Jill (Gordie) Frey of Archbold. He is also survived by his grandmother, Irene Liechty of Napoleon, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his twin-brother, Jared Michael Liechty, in 2016.

Funeral services will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to the Benevolence of the Family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.

    Josh was such a sweet spirited person. He will truly be missed by so many people. He was loved by us all. We are praying for the entire family for this tremendous loss and pain. May God provide peace that surpasses all understanding at this time. Prayers and much love to the entire family❤️
