Patsy Ruth (Jones) Heath, age 88, of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, in her home with her family at her side.
Mrs. Heath was a homemaker who devoted her life to taking care of her six children and spending lots of time with her many grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and being with her family outside at the parks. A very loving person to all around her, friends always became family, and she will be greatly missed by all.
Patsy Ruth (Jones) Heath was born on December 11, 1930, in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of Minor Frank and Ivy Beatrice (Larimore) Jones. She married Fredrick Ira Heath on October 28, 1954, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death in 1979.
Survivors include one son, Michael Heath, of Wauseon; three daughters, Rhonda (Bruce) Turnbull, of Portage, Wisconsin, Robin (Bob) Halling, of Muscatine, Iowa, and Karen Heath, of Wauseon; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Arthur Joe Collins, and a daughter, Penny Danielle (Stites) Heath.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Patsy’s care givers for their care and compassion.
A memorial service in Patsy’s memory will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at the First Church of God in Wauseon, with Pastor Mary Ann Reimund, officiating. Interment of Patsy’s remains will follow the memorial service in the Wauseon Union Cemetery; and a luncheon will follow at the Wauseon VFW. The family will receive visitors, on Friday, April 5, 2019, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
