Ada Alene Nofziger Stuckey age 97 formerly of West Unity, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 8 2020 at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold, Ohio where she was a resident for almost 2 years. She was born July 8, 1922 near Wauseon to William B and Clara M (Beck) Nofziger.
Ada married Earl Stuckey on December 25, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2009. They shared 67 years of marriage.
She is survived by four children: Karen (Arlo) Short of Stryker, Robert (Emagene) Stuckey of Alvordton, Thomas (Bonnie) Stuckey of West Unity and Connie (Mike) Richer of West Unity; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Herb Nofziger; two sister-in-laws , Mary Ellen Stuckey and Clemma Stuckey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, three brothers: LaVern, Olen and Lawrence Nofziger, five sisters: Orpha Nofziger, Berneda Stuckey, Marjorie Short, Myrtie Wyse and Virginia Nofziger.
Ada loved the Lord. She was baptized in her youth and was an active member of Salem Mennonite Church, Waldron, Michigan. She was a true prayer warrior for her family and others, desiring salvation for everyone.
Following Ada’s example: the family requests memorials to be acts of kindness to friends, neighbors, and families in need.
